However, Kiwanis cannot do it alone and therefore partners with community and government organizations to build a community that all can enjoy. Criteria for Assistance:
The Kiwanis Club of Kelowna supports programs and services for children and youth (under 19 years of age). Therefore, your request, whether it is for volunteering or funding, must be focused on children’s services or projects. Applications are accepted for volunteer and/or financial support.
Application for Financial Support for up to $1000
We recommend submitting your application at least three (3) months prior to the date of need.
How to Apply:
Applicants (up to $1,000) may apply for this grant anytime during the year. Forward your request for a funding application form to [email protected], indicating that your application is for $1000 or less.
Application for Financial Support for up to $5000
How to Apply:
Applicants may apply for funding up to $5000. Applications must be submitted before August 15. Distribution of the funds may not be available until the following February. A Final Report is required for short-term projects and annual updates for longer projects. Forward your request for a funding application form to [email protected], indicating that your application is for $5000 or less.
